Apologies for hardly updating my webcomic. Let's just say, God's timing is always on time. as for the lack of updates, its me who has been lazy while waiting for the next step to take.
have embarked on a freelance job to draw bible characters which unofficially started a week before i went on a vacation in Tokyo, Japan. Deadline was actually somewhere in the middle of my trip. Its been a month now since then, everything is restarted, and i need to get my commission done asap. Second chance to get things done properly. PTL for the opportunity.
Taking a 10 days break in a foreign land on my own along with two very enthusiatic comrades had ignited the adventure in us. You betcha we want to travel another round and somemore and somemore. Until we finally are too old for it i guess? I had a cheeky conclusion that probably we will stop our 'adventure' when either one of us have settled down, with family + kids. We will never know. Watching UP animation, kind of had alot of elements that I personally am looking fwd to. God willed if im ever suitable for marriage life.
I've always been very attached to my family, once a while I will be away with friends for camps and retreats. But that's not being fully independent and surviving on my own now isnt it? I had always wondered, what if I did go abroad for studies, where would i be now? Will my path be directed back to the church i grew up in or engage in any ministry I am very excited about? Looking back at how I've taken huge and smaller steps of growing in Christ at where i was at those points in time. Shaped the me today and moving forward is without that regret i had about staying back in msia.
starting an expensive trip to a land i always dreamed of visiting, ilumines me from the many questions i posted when i study their culture. reading about ppl and living amongst them is really two different input altogether.
similar experience (5 years ago) was going to spore to try bust the myth that kiasuim originates from there and how the govern's method of keeping the country clean by banniing chewing gum and fining litter bugs. Dont get me wrong, just lil muses I hear from others. I love hanging out with my sporean friends. I hope i can drop by again some time soon. always been an annual drop by.
Took me 2 weeks to recuperate from my tokyo trip. it was a huge endurance test. And being welcomed by my down with flu family. Adjusting back to office work pace was quite a task, when the full 10 days was about walking and out walking for full daylight. I do hope i can get back to my routine exercise, since the haze has gone away. starting tomolo ^^;; yay. Will be updating another post of my weekend retreat in PD.
ps. TOKYO trip not from my POV, being most convenient of all is posting my friend's WORDPRESS SUMMARY OF OUR TRIP. My journal is all in photos - FACEBOOK ALBUM. Im still midway updating my photos, only managed until day 5. still need to compile the following 5 days. so much work.
