fma : Tobenai tenshi (ps2)
Action RPG are just swell. This fma game is not hard. Easier than KH if u asked me. Could easily finish the game within 15 hours? If u don't bother bout leveling and having good sense in direction. Plus u gotta know jp. Duh. So you get to make ed do stupid stuffs.. Like chartwheeling around.. (dodging) renkin 5ft tall walls just to get reach of higher places. Skill jumping is required? Ed is not made to do stunts beyond his height okay? Enemies - dumb BUT if would be dumbber if u get shot down by em. Gotta be running up and down all the time (chartwheels). Chimera are easier to whack. While humans have longer hp bars I presume. They can defend, how smart. Alchemy, yosh u can only renkin certain items which are HELPFUL. SEE 5 Ed dummies walking around the street. ^^ll U can renkin weapons, vehicles, canons.. for both u and al (awww.. I forgot to mention bout al) to play with. Al is a non playable character. U can command him to do stuffs like call, tackle, guard or elric fever combos. But if u leave him be, he'll go and attack the nearest enemy he can find and shortens his life by doiong so. THINK KH would ya? Donald n goofy kays. Plot, ahh.. the game is very short. Its like one anime's episode. If u minus off all the long winded stuffs (fights n all that). Yer only get to travel around a small MAP. Its that small, n u go according to the plot. No picnicking on yer own. Blahhh. Overall, u don't needa know jp to play the game. Wasn't really a disappointment to me. Cos I'm playing it for the 2nd time to pile up my gallery to drool at the character arts!!!!

Shadow Hearts (ps2)
OOhh.. this is quite an old game (but the battle system is new to me). Gotta like the judgement ring to cont. I like the bgm n bg alot. Its like FF7 style but silent hill atmosphere. OOOhhh.. Neh you won't get freaked out ler.. I can't believe a Bacon is that hard to cope with. jk. This game sounds more sensible than FF games i tried. At least ppl get weary and their sanity drops. Plus u determine ur hit points, thanx to the infamous judgement ring. OOooo man. Like the hero aka Yuri (girlie name) is a harmoniser. Whee.. he gets to fuse with elemental spirits (I presume) n morph into em to do special skills. eheheheh.. If anything happens by random its the encounters with beasts ler. If u can't stay focus, sorry man, u are gonna dread the judgement ring. The game kinda reminds me of suikoden. Weird huh? its like alot of combination of other games put together. The fusion souls' tombstone' carvings look so so much like suikoden runes... AHHH.. no kidding. Ummm... if u have patience... n enjoy lovely bg graphics.... Don't miss this game. ^^;;
